I have got a pair of industial ear defenders (the kind that workmen digging up the road with jackhammers wear), and I like to pop them on to give my ears a bit of a break. Espeacily as my son likes to be "over my shoulder" so his mouth is right next to my ear. It works realy well, as it cuts out about 90% of the noise, but I can still hear things going on around me.

Im not doing it to "ignore" the screaming, but it just helps me endure a lot longer sessions at 3am.

What do you guys on here think about it? My wife hates the idea, but it is really working for me.
