video game problems | Dads with Teens | Dad Chat Forums

I have a 13 year old son. He is  loved 100% by both of us but he is driving me mad. He has this feeling of "entitlement" and is selfish beyond belief. He will talk back, be disrespectful and defiant when his immediate wants are not given to him. The main "wants" are video games. He obsesses about these games and does not want to do anything but play and beat the game. We do not think this is healthy for him and give him times that he is allowed to play. He will constantly badger until someone gives in or gets upset and takes the game away for a time. Has anyone had issues with video games and children? Any sincere suggestion is appreciated. Thanks
