My three-year-old daughter has an imaginary friend named Mabel. She talks to her all the time, draws with her, and "reads" her favorite books to her. We even have to set an extra place at the dinner table for Mabel or my daughter won't eat. Is this okay or should I be concerned about my child's sanity?

HI Andy. No need to be concerned for her sanity. Its perfectly normal . Loads of children have imaginary friends. Studies show that children with imaginary friends are better at learning to communicate than other children because they have a lot of practice at inventing interactions with their friends, which helps them improve their conversational skills. So its all good.
